Scientists on board those ships, in the ocean and in the sky – UFO ? –

Introduction

It was around mid-1980s, a research ship deployed by Japanese Fisheries Agency experienced mysterious incident, which, it seems, is considered as encounter to UFO. Because of the purpose of the ship, on board were the well experienced and authorized scientists and engineers thus they reported the incident and newspapers took it as a news article.
So, herein this time, let’s see this mystery from two S.F. viewpoints.
One is S.F. (Scientific Facts), The other is also another S.F. (Science Fiction).

Scientific Facts

The name of the ship is Kaiyou-maru.
The purpose of it is to research the natural resource of ocean such as population of fish, its behavior etc.

That Kaiyou-maru was the first generation. The present one is its second generation.

On that day, the ship was on duty in middle of Pacific Ocean and one of crews who is an expert of radar detection was on nightshift duty in the bridge. Then he and his two colleagues found a large object on radar screen, the size, he estimates, was around 200 to 300m. One of the three personnel left a memo that describes the incident.
He wrote ——–, “On radar screen being observed is a very large object that is moving around our ship”. “Although being in moon lit night, we could not visually confirm the existence of the object”, ———the memo said.

To their surprise, the object with unbelievably high speed circulated around the ship then suddenly approached the ship and made a V-turn, being away from the ship and out of the sight of radar screen.

The radar detection expert firmly denied any possibility of malfunction of radar system.

30 minutes later, again a large object appeared again on the radar screen.
This time, it appeared in the rear side of the ship with certain distance and approached with enormous speed. (Lator the speed was estimated as Mach 4)
At that time, the radar expert was remaining monitoring on the radar screen and the other two personnel were on the deck trying to visually confirm the object.

The radar expert thought that collision with the object would be inevitable. But the other two guys could not see anything in the sky. And when the object on the radar screen reached above the ship, they heard a noise, it’s like storm-like or air-blow-like noise, that for the expert was never heard before. Then the radar expert raised his face and saw very strong light, red or yellow, and unintentionally cried “Oh there it is!”.

Shortly, the light diminished and the disappeared, at the same time the object on the radar screen disappeared.

NOTE:
The incident happened more than 30 years ago.
And even if the above story is described as “Fact”, it comes from my weak, long-time- ago-memory about the newspaper article therefore the word “Fact” is being applied for making a degree of contrast against the fiction story that follows below.

Science Fiction

The room was comfortably cool. There, 4 human like figures are focusing on a large screen. Two of them look like women on the planet earth. They all are neither exactly European nor Asian rather are of several hybrid and basically beautiful.

“Captain, there found is a ship on the ocean” – – – said a woman like figure, with silky long black hair.

“I see, Keliny.” – – – Captain said.

“Based on visual penetration imaging, it is considered as scientific research purpose.” “Also confirmed is a fact that it does not contain anything of explosives aimed at killing or destroying others for such purpose as war.” – – – the other woman who has green short hair reported.

“Ok Lamulla, so these humanoids there we see are all peaceful engineers or scientists, like us, isn’t it?”- – – the Captain said.

“Yes, sir I think so too.”- – – Lamulla returned.

Another, man like figure followed.
“The ship is radiating electromagnetic wave which is considered as kind of detection system.”
“Based on the information from our Another Planet Research Center, the humanoids on this planet have already attained such important knowledges as Principle of constancy of the speed of light, quantum theory, entropy, etc. but have not yet to know the existence of super-light speed time-space layer. Anyway, their strength to carry on a civilization is at the same level of ours, except for complete elimination of war. Captain.”

“I see, so they are still struggling with war as we had been once. We also have painstaking history of tackling with the problem of war.”
“OK, so I have an idea. Skytes! Ask No.7 galaxy natural civilization conservation committee (GNCCC-7) if it is allowed to present our spaceship only on their detection system while avoiding any visual sight of our spaceship by them, except for redshifted light emission at the instant of diving into super-light speed time-space layer.”
“Maybe that can be a mysterious but story-telling effect on them so that they might have a hint of advanced technology while their history can avoid being uncontrollably affected.” – – – Captain stated.

“Yes sir!” – – – the man like figure replied.

In a matter of few minutes, Skytes said.
“Captain, GNCCC-7 has confirmed that it is permitted.”

“OK then, first of all, adjust visibility screen around our ship so that they can’t visually see us but see on their detection system. That can be done by controlling the electromagnetic resonance band of the screen. After that, let’s start circulating around their ship.
After several turning around the ship, show them V-turn that is impossible for their flying machines so that they consider us as something unknown.
Then, approach the ship again from its rear side, accelerating, so that at the very above of the ship critical speed for super-light speed time-space layer dive is achieved.”
“In that instant, they will see the redshifted light emission and that could be our future greeting to them who will be someday our good friends provided that they could completely eliminate war.”
– – – Captain ordered.

No sooner had they started their approach these 4 were able to see that two humanoid figures appeared around the outside of the room on the ship on the ocean, the room looks like its control room. It seemed that these two figures, bewildered, were looking for the object which they might have seen on their detection system.

“Now Dive-in!” – – – Skytes said.

Author’s Note

Finally, I inadvertently expanded my indulgence to such an extent of writing such a foolish story only for selfish pleasure.
Although the report of these scientist was once taken by famous newspaper, at the same time there is no concrete proof at all that it was a spaceship from another distant planet, far distant than expected on laws of physics. Also, such thing as super-light speed time-space layer is my complete and pure hallucination. Anyway, denying something is sometimes impossible as nobody knows the limitation of possibilities, for instance, “OK no more possibility, can you confirm?”, rather presenting something real can give us absolute truth. Here of course, If I can build that kind of spaceship and can demonstrate exceeding light speed, then I can say, “That incident was real”.
