It seems sipping nectar from tiny flowers with its sucking straw extended to a portion where drip of nectar would be.
Hovering and griding from one flower to the other. On its wing is pattern well decorated by nobody but by the power of nature. The pattern is actually millions of microscopic jewelries so called wing scales.
Extending from its head seen antennae like two thin lodes, probably they are kinds of sensing device.
The primary function of the antennae is detecting odors. They contain thousands of sensory receptors that allow butterflies to smell flowers and locate nectar sources from a distance.
Finding Mates🤔 Butterflies use their antennae to detect pheromones, which are chemical signals released by potential mates. This helps males and females locate one another for reproduction.
Balance During Flight😮 At the base of each antenna is a sensory structure called Johnston’s organ. It detects air movement, vibrations, and changes in body position, helping butterflies maintain stability while flying. Navigation and Orientation🤓 Antennae help butterflies sense wind direction and environmental conditions, allowing them to orient themselves and navigate more effectively during flight. Touch and Environmental Awareness🤠 Butterfly antennae also contain mechanoreceptors that detect physical contact and movement. These receptors help butterflies explore their surroundings and avoid obstacles. Interesting Fact😀 Most butterflies have club-shaped antennae with a swollen tip. This feature helps distinguish butterflies from many moths, which often have feathery or thread-like antennae.
Everyone knows it was not like that appearance. It was a caterpillar, like a picture below.
As everyone know, the caterpillar becomes a chrysalis. Then, finally the chrysalis metamorphoses into a butterfly.
Those three phases of this lifeform, completely different from each other yet somehow similarity is recognized, are complete mystery.
Why it is like that? The reason so far has not been well explained.
Flying is, I assume, to keep the diversity of its DNA as it finds a mate where it has not been i.e. the mate might have another pattern of DNA. (This is my personal opinion.)
Anyway, why does it take that complicated process?
The process is often seen as like dancing in a night club to find a love. Oh, I have not been that sort of person who visits night club, even it is impossible to start conversation with a stranger, too shy to find mate in that kind of way.
By the way, how could I find my wife? Power of nature or destiny?
Here the pictures from them I have some imaginations that associated with modern civilization.
In the Sky, Cloud is looming, from behind is sunlight insisting on. Sky! It evokes world whole. There, cloud is looking like ruling over the world or it believes so though actually it can never erase the righteousness of sunlight. It just simply musk it only from an angle. By flanking around the corner can ones be confident of its existence anytime, anywhere. Thus, “war” is like cloud, “no war” is like sunlight.
Sunlight is source of energy. Clean and no carbon yet it is not like solar panel. Sunlight perfectly synchronized with the world. Maybe with “perfect” scientific sense, we can fully utilize the energy of sunlight without such imperfection like solar panel.
Below, yes, flower! This zoom up picture makes just small and ordinally plant and flower marvelous. Whenever I see plants in this way, wonder about their geometry and color rises in my mind a feeling that says “how it is generated”.
Not only flowers but also green plants should be worth focusing on.
Here I arrange pictures that I have taken recently.
Facing at a drastic shift of my life that has been emerging recently I am feeling uncertain, yes, at least, it is not pleasures nor sadness but of future. Yes, I chosen to take that shift. Challenge. Anyway, I am not so strong. In my mind, there are two sides. Yes, you can guess what I suppose. Being Conservative or ——– The more the future I chosen looks drastic, the more the present looks comfortable. Maybe, only the time can ease this uncertainty.
Flowers, even quite tiny ones become marvelous when you closely look them. Then, around them is green, flesh green, symbol of life.
I pray that those life forms give me a strength to carry on.
On the way to my daily commute to the office, encouraging me is tiny but mighty power of nature yet, I think, vulnerable in some way. Encouraging for what? Yes, making me feel embraced by something transcendent so that I can carry on.
Tiny, Mighty and Vulnerable? Can you guess?
Dandelion fluff! Its “mechanism”, how it was created is still a mystery or more precisely saying, no 100% complete explanation has not yet been found.
It spreads those seeds. Each seed is equipped with feather like aerodynamic parts which reminds us of parachute.
The parachute troop will soon launch the drop operation. In this, “Operation Dandelion fluff”, each seed will land on somewhat distant place, distant from others and its origin. Viewing this process with Inductive Method, maybe it provides a twisting stuff to DNA for keeping DNA diverse i.e. widespread seeds can have opportunities of incorporating something another.
Some Japanese people call it “snake-strawberry”. I don’t know why. Anyway, in a random but ruled by something unknown or DNA, it’s red fruit clearly shows an existence of power that shapes that beautiful geometry.
Here are Ladybugs.
Single?Couple?
In species line of Ladybugs, there are a lot of types especially its color and pattern. On the picture, as you can see, the left one; black background and two red spots, the right one; orange background and many black spots.
Why? For what? Anyway, at least we can say that nature is not the sort that is isotropic or homogeneous rather has been so far opting for diversity.
Will this state in a future converge into isotropic or homogeneous? I don’t think so because I will not eat exactly the same food on every occasion of meal. If I do things in that way i.e. always the same, I am quite sure that my consciousness will be collapsed because of entropy. As long as Entropy works, isotropic and homogeneous can never last. ——-All the above is just my personal opinion anyway 🤣🤣😘
Is this nature, which human cannot overcome? Did our DNA program it?
Stingray, I found there. In the river mouth, brackish water area. Around floating are mullets. The fish is big, in the size around 1m. So, comparing those fishes you can see the size of the stingray which I found.
Spring has been closely approaching, and water temperature has been rising. Fishes and Stingrays are flocking around the river mouth.
Ducks. They seem to have gone to Siberia where their breeding areas are found. In turn, swallows have already arrived here in Japan. Habitat sharing? Perhaps?
Here I took a short video footage of “sliding” stingray. It moves the edge of its circular body like transmitting wave, with acceleration exchanged between body and water which gives the stingray thrust force or propulsion.
Mullets are famous for karasumi (dried mullet roe). Some Japanese say Mullets are good (as sea food) But most of Japanese people would say, “It’s not suitable for food because of its unpleasant odder”. (It’s like smell of mud often found in riverbed in urban area)
Some people say that those mullets that are found far from coastline are good.
Those lifeforms are found in the river mouth just next to my factory office where I was transferred last year from a distant place where my family members remain.
Then, I said to my wife on mobile phone that I want to catch the fish with large net. Then she said, “Don’t! It’s quite embarrassing if you are seen by your office colleagues, they would say “Look at that guy, Mr.X isn’t it? Foolish! Of chasing mullets!””.
So, I gave up the idea of returning to my childhood.
Of course, even if I have still a sense of wild-kids, visually nobody can recognize the sense because I am looking quite like seiner aged man, it’s unlikely that people see me as “The little Prince”.
